  RESPECT Romans 13 To begin with I want to thank the entire staff at The Trinity Journal for an honest and fair representation of the continuously fluctuating mood of this community. All of the stories and opinions are written and allowed expression without showing favoritism and the facts as they are known in an unbiased and respectful manner. This is not fake or biased news. Thank you Wayne and staff. I have used the opinion/feedback section of this newspaper many times over many years and have never been disappointed by deleted or edited content.   Post Inauguration 2025 It appears to me that since January 20th of this year there has been an exponential increase in confusion, indecision, division, deception and misunderstanding coming from our country's leadership, and of course this is reflected in the attitudes and behavior of the general public—all stemming from threats and intimidation flowing out of this current administration. This chronic negativity is caused by the many unfulfilled promises we are told to wait for during this (“time of transition”) or should we call it (“compliance”?). This prompts me to ask the question: Is this how we make America great again? Do we cultivate and promote peace, prosperity, friendship, and relationship this way? Is this what diplomacy looks like? W hy do we immediately attack long time friends and allies while ingratiating ourselves to sworn historical adversaries? Do we honestly think our adversaries have our best interests in mind?
